Talking to yourself. 'Liking' Cornell's updates on Facebook, even of a snowstorm. Missing the fiancé like never before. Hearing about the birth of yet another nephew. And the engagement of another cousin. Wanting to dream of your own wedding but having to design survey questionnaires instead.
I'm not downright miserable but fieldwork isn't easy.
